Growing Pains

The definition of busy is involved in often constant activity. I guess that would be an accurate way to describe how I've been lately. It's been a good type of busy here at Dulce. With Etsy orders picking up, festivals and shows in overdrive, prepping for the holidays, and super cute kid parties, balancing all these has been more than interesting.

Without a doubt, my biggest growing pain has been shipping, and that stinks! I want all our orders shipping out as soon as possible because I am one of the most impatient people I know! So I spent a few minutes (maybe a little longer) whining about my woes. Then I grabbed a glass of wine and thought about how to make it better. Enter AHA! moment.

Meet my new DYMO postage mailer, my new best friend. With this, printed postage from the computer, and my InstaRate calculator I hope to solve our shipping woes!

For the entire month of October if your order doesn't ship on time, I will offer a full  refund and you can keep your order.

Thank you all!

Happy New School Year!

It's September and the start of a new school year. Even though I have one more year before my little one goes off to kindergarten, I have always loved this time of year. I get all excited about back to school shopping, and this year I even bought some things. Who can resist 1 cent spiral notebooks?

TO kick off your school year and give you an idea you can use all year round (I'm thinking those bake sales they love to do!), here is a super cute chalkboard cookie tutorial!

And while I love peanut butter cookies, I have always loved a simple Martha Stewart sugar cookie recipe I found years ago. I mix up batches and freeze them so when I am ready to bake some cookies, the mix is all set to go. You can use any cookie recipe with this and any kind of chocolate.

I am definitely trying these!
